Harold and Velda Mills opened Mills Auto Service and Repair in 1955. They operated the small shop at 902 N Fares for 15 years.
Don Decker and Jack Vickery purchased the business in October of 1970. By 1977, the operation outgrew its original building and moved to 1018 Maxwell Avenue, where the size of the facility and staff tripled. In 1982 a second location was opened on the east side of Evansville. In 1986 Mills opened it's first Warrick County operation in Chandler, IN. Throughout the 1990's each of these locations were expanded to meet customer's needs. In 2003 Mills opened it's second location in Warrick County in Newburgh, IN. In 2004 Mills opened it's fifth location. It is at 5900 Old Boonville Hwy. This location includes, Mills Truck Equipment, Mills Truck Accessories, Mills Express, Mills Graphics. It is truly your one stop shop. Don's and Jack's sons started working with the company when they completed school throughout the 1980's. Since then, Don Decker JR., Randy Vickery, and Britt Decker have taken over operations of the family business. They have continued the tradition of Service, Attitude, and Pride.
